Angelo Morelato graduated in piano with full marks and honours from the "Lucio Campiani" State Conservatory of Music in Mantua, under the guidance of M° Salvatore Dario Spanò. He then earned a second-level Master's degree in Piano, "Instrumental and Vocal Accompaniment", with full marks and honours from the "F.A. Bonporti" Conservatory in Trento, under M° Marino Nicolini, and a second-level Master's degree in Chamber Music, with full marks and honours, from the "Lucio Campiani" Conservatory in Mantua, under M° Paolo Ghidoni.
He deepened his studies taking part in masterclasses held by M° Boris Petrushansky, François-Joël Thiollier, Pietro De Maria and Pier Narciso Masi. He completed a traineeship as a collaborative pianist at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig.
In 2015 he founded Duo Wanderer, an award-winning chamber ensemble that has given numerous concerts in Italy, Germany and Switzerland. He was later admitted to the Chamber Music Master's programme at the Hochschule für Musik in Hamburg, in the class of M° Niklas Schmidt.
He performs regularly as a pianist in various chamber formations (duo, trio, quartet and more) and as a collaborative pianist in concerts, courses and music competitions. From 2016 to 2022 he was President of the Gaetano Zinetti Centre for Musical Education (CEM), an association that organises and promotes cultural activities.
He is artistic coordinator of the "Gaetano Zinetti" International Prize, the "Futuri Interpreti" International Competition and the "Terenzio Zardini" International Competition. He continues his pianistic development with M° Cristiano Burato. He holds the piano teaching chair and is coordinator of the Music Programme at IC Badia Polesine - Trecenta (Ro).
